Where did you get your information for the ebook?
Ebooks are created with an idea. Once you’ve found your niche topic and have created your outline, you start writing. If you know about your niche topic, then you can write until your heart’s content. If not, you’ll need to research your niche and gather ideas for topics to write about.
If it’s a topic you know nothing about and have done your research, you can write from a certain perspective. You can agree or disagree with the subject matter and give your point of view. Your thoughts and ideas are what your writing will be based on.
Did you use any PLR sources
Some people believe that using PLR is cheating. And in my opinion, those are the people who don’t know how to use PLR. For my second ebook, there was no way I could come up with all of that information and to be completely honest, I didn’t want to. If you truly feel that using PLR is being dishonest then I suggest you don’t use it. For those who want to save themselves some time and stress, keep reading.
Plr is a time saver. The niche topic and research has already been done for you. You simply read the plr content, and rewrite in your own words. You can alter plr. Put your on spin on it, which is how you make it yours. Plr can also be used for gaining ideas about what to write about. Often wnen reading a plr article, I’m filled with my own ideas and experiences that have been long forgotten.
Of course you can’t use plr as is. If you copied plr articles without altering and tried to post it on Amazon as a Kindle ebook, it wouldn’t get far. Amazon doesn’t allow the use of plr. This doesn’t mean you can’t use it. In order to use it, you have to rewrite it. View plr as a resource and a tool that makes article and ebook creation faster and better.
How was your ebook formatted for kindle
I stared typing my ebook using Microsoft Word. If you don’t have word you can use Open Office or notepad. As you know, notepad doesn’t have features such as word count, formatting or spell checking features.
You really don’t need anything fancy to get your ebook started. The formatting comes into play when you’re all done with editing and proofing. When you’re ready to submit your ebook to Amazon is when you’ll focus on formatting.
When you’re ready to submit to Amazon, the easiest way I’ve found to do so is with a program called KD Publishing Pro. I use this software and wouldn’t dare try to format an ebook for Amazon’s Kindle without it. As stated, I type my ebook in Word and then placed it in the KD Publishing Pro word processing software that does all of the formatting automatically. Nothing could be easier. You can find this software here. It’s very affordable and super easy to use.
